How do we overcome our inner voice of condemnation?
Box 7 Tip:
Do you have some real life plans or school registrations that are not complete for the fall semester? Ask someone to help you find time to get these done; it will be a great relief for your final weeks of rehearsal and performing. You might even ask a corps staff member to use a laptop and internet connection, which will help you focus and finish faster than working on your phone.
Plan: looking ahead a few days, how will I spend time with God?
Pray: where & when will I pray? what & who will I pray for?
Pursue: who is in my Focus Group, and how will we set aside time?

Check out the YouTube video below from Bluecoats 2012 called “Flume.” This short film verbalizes the shame that is common in the human heart.
You don't have to believe everything you think or feel. God knows you will struggle with this, but if he tells you that you are free, then you are free. You don't have to carry around the condemnation for which Jesus died to set you free.
